ABOUT THE SCHOOL

Joan Dachs Bais Yaakov–Yeshivas Tiferes Tzvi is the largest Jewish Elementary Day School in the Midwest, currently serving over 1,500 students in nursery through eighth grade. JDBY-YTT is dedicated to transmitting the values and lifestyle of Orthodox Jewish tradition while providing a strong, comprehensive secular education. The mission of our school is to help children grow academically, emotionally, and socially, while guiding our students toward simchas hachaim (happiness in life) and personal self-esteem. We promote integrity, responsibility and academic excellence, all cornerstones of chinuch. Ultimately our goal is to educate children so that they have high moral and ethical values, religious and secular knowledge, and become active, contributing members of the communities they join.
